What is MSPN?
The Missouri Suicide Prevention Network (MSPN) is a statewide network dedicated to reducing suicide through collaboration, education, and community-driven action. We bring together partners from across Missouri to strengthen prevention, intervention, and postvention efforts through our committees and workgroups.
Our work spans community coalition support, postvention planning, youth engagement in schools, public awareness initiatives, and data-informed strategies. MSPN also hosts statewide events, including our annual Race Against Suicide and the Missouri Suicide Prevention Conference, to raise awareness, amplify community voices, and support local prevention efforts.
Together, MSPN and our partners are building a stronger, more connected Missouri where every community has the tools and support needed to save lives.
RACE AGAINST SUICIDE
The Race Against Suicide, hosted by the Missouri Suicide Prevention Network, took place on September 26th in recognition of Suicide Prevention Month.
We had a record-breaking turnout, with 461 participants out of 484 registered! This year, we offered both a 5K and a 10K, making it an incredible day of movement, connection, and awareness.
It was truly inspiring to see our community come together to raise awareness, spread the message of suicide prevention, and support such an important and powerful cause.
